As a Flagstaff Specialist with Team Three 23 Real Estate Group with Realty ONE Group Mountain Desert, I’m dedicated to serving with honesty and integrity and I’m committed to staying on top of the Arizona real estate market, industry and trends.
If you’re here, welcome! You must be looking into who I am, where I come from, what I stand for, and how I do business. So here’s my story:
I’ve been in Flagstaff since 1997. I have worked with lawyers and physicians during most of my time here. I was a legal assistant at Taylor & Associates law firm for several years, then I took a job as a chairside dental assistant at Flagstaff Dental Group for several more years, and then went to work for the incredible surgeons at Northern Arizona Orthopaedics. I have nothing but great things to say about the lawyers and physicians that I had the pleasure of assisting. I learned a ton and was able to help thousands of people a year! However, after many years working at a furious pace and in a position where I couldn’t really advance financially for my family, I decided to get my real estate license so I could get out of the cubicle and into the community. It has proven to be the best decision I’ve ever made!
My husband Dan and I were lucky enough to become homeowners in 2012. We got in while the prices were low, but it was still a struggle for us to get into a home of our own. I researched different down payment assistance options and attended homebuyer courses to learn more about what we needed to do to get to our goal. I actually spent years researching. We even met with a lender several months before buying to get a list of things we needed to do to qualify for a loan. Our mortgage lender went the extra mile for us, and we are so grateful! There is nothing like the feeling that comes with owning your own piece of land and a home to call your own. There is a pride in ownership that I didn’t expect.
Now I am working with clients as a full-time REALTOR. I put my legal and medical background to use in everything I do. Customer service and good communication are key to a successful transaction! I especially love to work with first-time home buyers and those in the medical community. I love teaching what I know to others and helping them see possibilities! I teach homebuyer courses a few times a year and offer them free to anyone that would like to join and learn. (Please fill out the contact form if you would like to be notified of my next class.)
I love learning! I have taken countless hours of continuing educations already in my real estate career. I’ve attended coaching seminars and home tours, webinars, and zoom meetings. I have studied risk management so I can help my clients mitigate risk. I’m even pursuing my GRI (GRI means Graduate Realtor Institute) this year and should have that completed by the end of 2021.
When I’m not working, you will find me in my garden or out on a nature walk taking photographs. My husband and I are both artists. I enjoy the meditation of bead weaving and Dan excels at woodworking. We always have a project or two going. Our son Sylas graduated from Flagstaff High School. I’m so glad he is still in Arizona so we can see him often.
I love Flagstaff. I love houses. I love helping YOU. Let me know how I can be of assistance to you.
