Brandy’s Restaurant in Flagstaff, AZ

Owner Kelsey Drayton and General Manager Ashley of Brandy’s Restaurant and Bakery

Brandy’s Restaurant in Flagstaff, AZ have provided locals with amazing homemade pastries, breads, egg dishes, soups and a variety of other creative cuisine for over 22 years.  From original owners, Brandy and Ed Wojciak, to the current owners, Kelsey and Jamie Drayton, Brandy’s has remained one of Flagstaff’s favorites winning “Best of Flagstaff” 16 times and a variety of other impressive awards.

Located in the Midtown Shopping Center on Cedar Avenue, one usually needs to arrive early to get a seat.  Cracking 3200 eggs a week and cooking 500 pounds of potatoes validates popularity with their clientele.  Boasting ‘all from scratch’ bakery items and 10 different types of eggs Benedict, as well as pancakes where the mix is sold in the Basha’s grocery store, this local establishment has developed a menu niche that is worth coming back for more.  If this wasn’t enough, Kelsey shared how they proudly promote buying from as local as possible using such vendors as the Tortilla Lady, Firecreek Coffee, Mountain Top Honey, Hickman’s Eggs and the Farmer’s Market.

Kelsey’s longtime history with Brandy’s began back in 1995 as a dishwasher.  He worked his way through a variety of jobs at Brandy’s while attending college at Northern Arizona University.  He and his wife, Jamie, moved to California to pursue their careers and both began to successfully climb corporate ladders.  All the while the memory of Flagstaff never seemed to fade from their minds.  Moving back to Flagstaff became a reality for them, and in 2014, Ed and Brandy transferred ownership of the restaurant to Kelsey and Jamie – a smooth transition indeed.   These newer owners of two and a half years continue the tradition of giving back to the community through the display of art by local artists on a monthly or bi-monthly basis.  Brandy’s walls are even decorated during the months of January through March with the art of Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy (January), Coconino High School (February) and Lou Corp for disabled adults (March) as a fund raiser for these places.

Whether you are a Flagstaff local or a passing through guest, put Brandy’s Restaurant and Bakery on your list of excellent food for breakfast or lunch.  The varied menu will keep you coming back for more.  All the while – remember that Team Three 23 sent you and can help with your real estate needs.
